Description

Join this hands-on workshop to create your own butterfly specimen display. This is a creative, self-paced session where you will design and assemble a shadow box using a sustainably sourced butterfly, preserved floral, and other natural elements. You are in charge of the design. Technical help is available throughout the class for things like picking the right adhesives and making sure your specimen is secure. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a finished piece ready to display.

What’s Included:

7 x 7 Shadow Box
1 Pre-pinned Alpine Black Swallowtail
Natural Elements: Preserved mushrooms, moss, dried florals, crystals, and bones
Background Options: Card stock with gold foil designs, vintage music sheets, scrapbooking paper and fabric
Tools & Adhesives provided for use during the session

*Age Requirement*
This workshop is for ages 13 and older. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Additional information

Note	A standard butterfly is included in your workshop fee. If you'd like to purchase an additional specimen like a Luna Moth or Death Head Moth, you can select an "Add-on" or purchase additional specimens in person during the workshop.
